While we eat our Christmas dinner 1,500 children will die in Africa. In the UK at Christmas we spend  £2,300,000,000 on presents we don't like or want, and  £53,000,000,000 in total. Imagine how many children we could save if we changed our focus!

Fast4Africa is a sponsored event held every Christmas during December. The official date is Tuesday 22nd December but if this doesn't suit, feel free to choose your own day. Sponsorship is most usually from 24 hour fasting, but anything from giving your mobile phone up for a week, running 10 miles or not eating chocolate for a month are all good options!
